VAKI has been growing consistently year on year, significantly increasing our product range, market share, sales turnover and employees.
Last year we introduced two new products for live fish counting and feeding as part of a focused effort with a number of measures to strengthen our position in both new and our traditionally active markets. There are exciting times ahead and great opportunities in the New Year.
Recently VAKI announced three new jobs openings at our Reykjavík headquarters in Iceland.
We were delighted with the interest received from many well qualified applicants and the enthusiasm shown in working for the company.
VAKI would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their time and efforts during the process and announce that we have appointed new people in all three positions
Early January, Magnús Thor Asgeirsson will join the Marketing team and he will be dedicated to marketing, development and support for the
Riverwatcher Fish Counter.
Also in January Þórður Eydal will join the Production Department, focusing production and customer support for
Micro and Macro range of Counters.
Bjarni Guðmundsson joins the Software Department in February, his main function will be designing and developing the
Biomass Daily System software as well as task related to data analysis and generation of reports from collected data.
We at VAKI welcome Magnús, Þórður and Bjarni welcome on board our VAKI ship and wish them all the best in their new challenges.
